Beginners Longsword Classes

Our long standing course.

Longsword is great for beginners. It offers the opportunity to explore a range of HEMA principles safely, making it a fun and rewarding experience.

The six week course starts with basics like footwork and progresses to the master strikes of Meyer.

Before Coming

Please contact us if you plan to attend. We will ensure equipment and insurance is in place for you to take part. In addition, we are happy to answer any questions that you may have.

The beginner courses are £60 for six, one hour classes, with equipment provided

Our newer offering.

Military Sabre a fun entry into HEMA and an easy transition from Olympic fencing to historic.

We start with Roworth's 'The Art Of Defence On Foot' and branch out from there. This gives you good foundation to start sparring with sabres or if you wanted to fence more like a highway man like the Cardiff Players Theatre Group (Pictured)!
